I digress. In the process of my purging, I started going through all of my movies and cds. I have a SHIT ton! Yesterday I sold thirty-two seasons of television shows that I owned. Friends, Full House, Roseanne, The Golden Girls, etc. I now only own Charmed. I kept this series for two reasons, the shop didn't want to purchase them, and I was a little nervous that I wouldn't be able to find them to re-buy them.
I own so many movies. It has become a bit of a collection over the years. I still have all of the movies I bought when DVD's first came out. I feel old saying that. But yes folks, I remember when both CD's and DVD's came out! I could list a million of them, but I am going to give you just a few of the ones I own that make me laugh, because they are so different from the other! You can click on the movie titles and it will take you to the IMDb website, I use it frequently.
As you can see, I like a variety of different movies. I still love to watch movies intended for teenagers and kids, and I loveeee horror movies. I also love movies that have a happy ending, though most can be predicted right in the beginning.
Movies I find as of lately are extremely predicable. I wonder if this is because writers are slowly running out of ideas, or if it's because there are so many movies out with similar story lines that it is just too easy for the audience to guess right from the get go. Regardless, my favorite movie right now is, of course you should all know this, Never Been Kissed.
Movies can be extremely therapeutic for me. Several years ago my boyfriend and I broke up and the movie, The Lake House, got me through that break up. It was such a romantic movie. The story line is unlink most, a huge chunk of the romantic story line is actually a sad story. If you haven't watched it, you should definitely check it out. I watched it on repeat for a week straight.
I recommend everyone stay current with the media, whether it be music or movies or t.v. Though reading is something to be said for, and I love to read, I also believe that this form of entertainment has it's value, and it shouldn't be discredited just because it's broadcast through a screen.
Thats it for today's post, I hope everyone is staying warm tonight! I think I am going to hit the sack much earlier tonight than in the past week! I have already written my post and it's early!

Sometimes I think writers are running out of ideas too. I have not seen a truly "excellent" movie in a long time.
